Farina has been passionate about football since she was five years old, growing up in Colombia before continuing her journey in Wellington. A student at Onslow College, she has represented Capital Football at U18 Youth National League level and plays her club football for Wellington United Diamonds, alongside competing in futsal.

Farina continues to progress through the high-performance pathway, having been invited to trial through the Wellington ID pathway for NZ U20 camps. In 2025, she began training with the Wellington Phoenix Reserves while still playing for Wellington United, where her team won the Central League title. She was also recognised as her club's Young Female Player of the Year, highlighting her exciting development and potential.

Farina Anchico is a 20-year-old Colombian footballer born in Tumaco, Colombia, currently playing for Wellington United in New Zealand. A dynamic Left Winger, Right Winger and Forward, she plays with the number 9.

Known for her explosive speed, sharp one-on-one ability, and creative flair, Farina combines clinical finishing with an elegant vision of the game. Two-footed and comfortable using both her right and left, her fearless dribbling and instinct in the final third have made her one of the most exciting young attackers of her generation.
